Aardwolf Pestkare (Singapore) Pte Ltd commenced operations on 8th April 1997 with 23 "pioneer staff" and a paid-up capital of S$716,000.

The founding directors John H H Ho and Patrick S P Chong, who between them then had 35 years experience in pest control, shared a dream – to build a company "dedicated to protect our Clients, their family, business enterprises and their employees, through providing the best pest management service, safely and without harming the environment."

To reflect the nature of the business, the company took on the name of the interesting mammal "Aardwolf" (or "earth wolf" in Afrikaans) that feeds on termites and insects in southern and eastern Africa. "Pestkare" is a variant spelling of "pest-care". Today, Aardwolf Pestkare  (pronounced as "a:dwolf pestcare") is a leading pest management company in Singapore, reputed to offer a very high quality and standard of work. Operating out of its own factory in Jurong, with 71 staff members and 38 vans, it services it's 3,000 commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical and residential Clients all over Singapore, moving as fast as the legal speed limit on the expressway permits!

On 16th July 2001 Aardwolf Pestkare opened its doors for business in Jakarta. Said President Director of P.T. On 1st February 2002 Aardwolf Pestkare became the exclusive franchisee in Singapore for TermiCam Australia. This investment of a quarter million dollars is in thermal imaging that uses infra-red to detect the presence of termites and rodents. In November 2004 this was extended, without additional charge, to detecting "temperature signatures" in electrical connections so that fires can be prevented in our Client's premises.

On 5th April 2007 AARDWOLF O-THREE (S) PTE LTD   was launched. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary that provides ozonation and anti-microbial sanitisation through an exclusive licensing arrangement with Bio3X LLC, a leading Bio-Security company in the United States. In June 2007 Aardwolf Pestkare   launched the "TimberSure for TermiCam" Warranty Scheme. This is the first financial programme in Singapore that protects expensive timber structure of buildings against subterranean termite damage for up to $250,000 for landed properties and up to $100,000 for apartments. In January 2010, Aardwolf Pestkare   was presented with the bizSAFE STAR Award by the Ministry of Manpower, under the auspices of the Workplace Safety & Health Advisory Committee, making it the first Pest Management Company in Singapore to have earned this top honour.

This adoption of technology is on top of the use of hand-held computers by service technicians to give Clients a high standard of reporting, the first of its kind in the industry in ASEAN. Since 2001, Aardwolf Pestkare has been playing an active role in helping to upgrade the pest management industry by contributing papers and making presentations at conventions and seminars held in Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand. On the community front Aardwolf Pestkare has a programme to conduct voluntary pest management services to welfare homes.
